The Medora website update is almost finished. We are still in the production of the Video and How to videos for both consultants and GPs.
All of us have enjoyed the last two weeks of holidays. We have all spent this our families, and it has been a great time catching up with friends and family. All of us have made it a priority to spend quality time with family and friends, not presents and shopping. I have to say that this holiday time was a success.
All of us at Medora are also grateful to everyone who has had to work during these holidays. For some people, it has been a hectic period at work.
We are all grateful to people who have been involved helping people and animals who have been affected by the Australian bush fires. To all firefighters in Australia trying to stop the bush fires - thank you sooooooo much. You are amazing people who have and are working amazingly hard in this awful situation. We are all sad to hear about the loss of human and animal life during this ecological catastrophe.
To all governments in the world, please believe in the climate change and pass laws to protect this amazing planet we call Earth. Profits are not everything.
The book I am reading
At the moment I am reading What Works for Women at Work: Four Patterns Working Women Need to Know by Joan C Williams and Rachel Dempsey. I would recommend this book to every working woman as well as all HeForShe men. It's an essential resource that gives excellent advice for working women in any situation. Joan and Rachel put into words many things that I have experienced, and I bet most women have experienced.
Gadgets and Apps
As last year has finished and New Year has begun, I had spent some time over the holidays planning this year. I have planned my short-term and long-term goals, but most importantly, I have planned key results and subsequent tasks to achieve these goals.
To be able to do this, I use a combination of whiteboard, Notion app and Todoist app. I love using both of these apps. Notion does take a bit getting used to, but not too much. Todoist is very easy to use, and I use it for all of my task management. I use Notion for planning, blog writing, task setting, database management etc.
